Thule Hard Top Roof Rack for 2007-2025 Wrangler JK/JL & 2020-2025 Gladiator JT

First Off - Kudos to Just for Jeeps.com - only 2 days from order, to shipping to on my Jeep ! Installation took about 5 minutes each bar, then I perused the directions and moved the location of the washer (fit was much better). This kit comes with the square bars 58 inch, I just threw on the basic old J racks for a trial run. I loaded two 60 poundish, 13 foot yaks to check for sag - none found. After securing the yaks - I ran a five mile (deserted stretch of hi-way) up to 60 MPH, zero noise zero shift, after gaining some confidence in the bars and my blood pressure back to normal - I hit the old dirt road to the river (lots of bumps and washouts but not a proper "trail") the bars held solid even after a low branch nearly took out one of the yaks (yeah my spotter was texting go figure) . I am very pleased with these as to what I wanted them for.All in All if you need a rack to just run a couple yaks 5 miles to the lake on a state road or the occasional home depot run for a couple 4x4s of lumber then these are a winner.

There was a small hiccup initially with my order, missing a part…but the guys @ Just For Jeeps made it right and got my parts to me immediately. No fuss…no drama. Thank you guys again.

I had a 2015 4dr Wrangler and had the Rapid Gutter 300R and the Hullavator 898 for my two kayaks. As of today 28 Mar 2021 I installed the unit onto my new Wrangler a 2020 4dr with the SKY VIEW soft top. It appears to fit correctly and securely. Has anyone else tried this ????

Two things:

1) The clamp side mechanism does not slide easily at all on to the bar... I happened to remember from childhood that putting on handlebar grips were hard - but easy with dish soap... So use dish soap if you have problems sliding the clamps onto the bar.

2) Security.... I am likely going to trade out the flip wheels for bolts... While bolts can be removed with a tool obviously, at least it is a hindrance. The provided wheel nuts are too easy to remove quickly. I read another review about the locks - $60 or so... And not thief proof as well...

Excellent product and very easy to install. The only thing different I did was later install locks for security. A good buy considering the product and maker.

I was looking for a roof rack to hold my SUP's. This rack was so easy to assemble. I had it on my Jeep in about 10 minutes. The hardest part was getting the end caps on. Strapped the boards on and away to the lake we went, no problems. Even went thru the car wash , no trouble!

My wife and I are kayaking crazy ladies! When we upgraded to our new Jeep we were worried about traveling with two kayaks and j's With such a tall vehicle. Well I'm here to tell you we had no problems!! This set up is the sturdiest we have purchased! No wiggle, no worrying, no problems! On our way back from Maine we hit some wind, but the Thule set up took it like a champ! I would highly recommend this product! Easy to install and remove! Once on they feel like part of the Jeep, and there is 0 damage to the gutters or roof on the Jeep!! Very very impressed! We would also like to thank just for jeeps for getting these to us in a timely manner! Two day shipping was really two day shipping! Thank you all very much! We will definitely be purchasing from you again!!

Easy to install and is real solid when all tighten up, I wouldnEtmt put it on a two door as the rails would be real close together .

First of all this is a great package deal offered. You get everything you need in one order and shipping was FAST. The customer service is great they answered very quickly. Installation was a breeze took less than 10 mins, makes my Wrangler look great and now I'm ready for the winter!

I chose this rack because it has a higher weight allowance than the other leading brand Jeep rain gutter rack. My purpose is to carry two kayaks, which aren't that heavy but quickly add up in weight, especially when you add some J racks to carry them. The idea of attaching boats onto a rack on a rain gutter is nerve-wracking to me so I wanted to go with a good brand. What I like most about this roof rack is the round knob which you use to tighten the screws. It is so easy to hold and tighten perfectly. It let's me relax about putting the rack on and off, because I don't want it on there all the time. I was able to assemble the rack easily. Once put together, it is even easier to mount on the roof by myself in about ten minutes.Another thing I like about this rack is the heavy duty feel to it and the smooth coating that is over the metal bars. I like the square bars. I love that it's black and I am so glad I didn't get a cheap one with silver or chrome because that doesn't match the look of my Jeep.One thing I don't like is the small plastic end caps that you are supposed to put on the end of the square bars that go across the roof. I found them hard to put on all the way and confusing as to which end was up, even after looking at the picture on the box 100 times. I'll probably tap them in with a hammer and maybe they will look more seamless then.I did hear wind noise on the highway when I borrowed a friend's J racks (older thule model) and drove with no kayak. However, when we loaded a kayak on later that day, we did not hear any wind noise. I've just ordered new thule hullaport pro J racks but haven't used them yet. I'm sure they will work well with this base rack.Overall I am super happy with this purchase and will consider a thule bike rack when the time comes to buy. Purchasing and shipping from "justforjeeps" went smoothly. The cost was lower than my local Jeep dealership was asking for ordering me a lesser brand/model.

This item came quickly and the product is wonderful! Only wish the description had a bit more info. I was hoping to get the 3 inch gutter feet and received the 5 inch. Dine the size was not listed in the description, the great price made me take the gamble on size.

Very easy to install and works great for hauling skis and snowboards with the Thule holder that I already own. The square bars make a lot of noise once you get over 45 mph. To counter this I purchased the 52" Thule cargo rack wind screen and it made an immediate reduction in noise created by the square bars.
